The most frequently asked questions about tandem flying

Where do we meet?

We meet at the ticket area at the valley station of the Brauneck cable car in Lenggries. Please be there at least 10 minutes before the agreed time so we can take the cable car up to the summit in time.

What should I wear for the tandem flight?

The higher we fly, the colder it gets. We recommend wearing long pants, a sweater, a jacket, sunglasses (also for the wind), and especially in spring and autumn, gloves. Most importantly, wear sturdy footwear such as hiking, trekking, or running shoes.

Can I get photos and videos of the flight?

Yes, we provide the latest generation GoPro cameras and selfie sticks so you can capture your flight from the best perspective. You’ll receive the footage right after the flight—either conveniently via cloud link or, if preferred, on a MicroSD card. The photo and video service costs €30 per person and is not included in the flight price.

Is the gondola ride with Brauneck cable car included in the ticket?

No, the gondola ticket is not included in the flight price. The current price is €14. You can find more detailed and up-to-date ticket information on the Brauneck cable car website.

What happens if the weather is bad and we can’t fly?

We always try to find a replacement date for you. If that’s not possible, you’ll get a 100% refund if the flight is canceled due to weather.

Can I bring luggage to the tandem paragliding flight?

You basically only need warm clothing and your valuables. Small backpacks or handbags can be stored without any problem.

How spontaneous can I book a flight?

You can call us spontaneously at any time. With a bit of luck, we might be able to schedule your tandem flight for the same day.

Is there an age limit for flying?

There is no age limit for our guests. However, for underage passengers, we need written consent from a parent or guardian. Regardless of age, you should be able to run 20 meters without stopping.

Are there physical requirements for a tandem paragliding flight?

Physical fitness: You should be able to take a few running steps at the start before we take off. If you have physical limitations, prosthetics, a nerve condition, or are unsure, feel free to send us a non-binding inquiry.
Body weight: A paraglider is certified for a specific weight range, so your weight should be between 30 and 120 kg (66 lb - 265 lb).

I’m afraid of heights. Can I still fly?

We’ve flown many people who are afraid of heights. Since we’re in open air and have no reference point like a cliff edge, fear of heights usually doesn’t play a role in paragliding.

Am I insured during the tandem flight?

All passengers are insured during tandem flights. Each of our pilots has the legally required passenger liability insurance.
